This facility (referred to as “SoCycle,” “we” and “us” in these Terms and Conditions) is the operator of SoCycle facility set out overleaf. The person named in the Registration Form (“you” or “Member”) is a user of our SoCycle facility.
The decision to accept an applicant as a user of SoCycle facilities shall be at our absolute discretion. Once we have approved an applicant by counter-signing the contract, these Terms, and Conditions, as amended from time to time, shall apply. This agreement is for the entire period of your package as set out on the Registration Form and shall continue after that for an unlimited period until terminated.
Each SoCycle studio offers multiple classes a day and throughout the week. Rides can be booked a week in advance or at any time before class pending an available bike – up to 30 minutes before the ride starts. To book a bike, you must have paid rides in your account. Booking a bike includes choosing where in the pack you want to be positioned.
Can’t make it? Please cancel your booking 12 hours or more before the ride. If your booking is canceled 12 hours before class time, your SoCycle credit will be refunded to your account. If canceled within the 12-hour late cancellation window, SoCycle package holders will lose one ride credit.
If your selected ride is full, join the waitlist. To sign up to a waitlist, you must have an available SoCycle credit that will get redeemed at the time of signing up (you will not be able to use the same credit to book another class).
If a bike opens up, you will be automatically added into the class and will receive an email notification. The client requires no confirmation. The standard cancellation policy will be in effect (you will need to cancel 12+ hours before the class to be refunded the credit).
Riders still on the waitlist 12 to 2 hours before class will only be notified by phone call if a bike opens up. Please be ready. If the rider cannot be reached or decides not to take the bike, they will NOT be charged. If the rider confirms to be added into the class but is a no-show, standard cancellation policy will apply. If we cannot get a hold of the rider, we will move onto the next person on the waitlist.
First-time clients are requested to arrive 10-15 minutes early to fill out our client questionnaire and meet the trainer. For safety reasons, first-time clients cannot join the class once the instruction has begun.
We have a no cell phone policy in the studio (Ride now, email later!). Under very exceptional circumstances, cell phones may be left at the front desk with a Client Services Representative member, and we are happy to notify you in the class of a particular incoming call.
Cycling shoes are required to be worn in the studio at all times. Shoes are available free of charge.
For the safety of all clients, riders cannot join a class after 5 minutes.
Classes and trainer assignments are subject to change. Pricing is subject to change without notice.
Single classes expire one month from the date of purchase, 5 class packages expire three months from the date of purchase, 10 class packages expire six months from the date of purchase, and 20 class packages expire twelve months from the date of purchase.
